Useage of pictograms

Just joined the site because ive just finished the books, which I absolutely loved and Im naw makine all I know read it. Im one of those obsessive Potter fans who got my other mates potter crazy so i think Ill get thorugh to them as most will prefer this is some ways..

Anywho, I read these books because I was assigned to read His Dark Materials with another book given to me out of a hat from the big read 100 to illustrate in some way a week last friday (not just the scenes, could be feelings and views of other charaters and so on). Never got to read the other given bookcause i only had a week (yes I read the trillogy in just a week, not rushing and ruining it neither!) Its now my favorite book with a few others

Im doing graphic design and im collecting research to help me towards something, which means collecting pictures of the oxford colleges.

I was wondering if i could use some of the photos from the website, i dont intend to use them by themselves but i need some images for reseach, and I need to include what site i got them from. I dont want anyone thinking im ripping them off some site and naming them my own.

Wow, that came off as really rude/obnoxious, since it sounded like you were granting someone the right to use copyrighted material from a website that myself and others have put years worth of work into building. I'm sure you didn't mean to be offensive, but mind your place -- you're still a newbie in my book, 657 posts or not, and I'm not too fond of newbies who think they're ali or me. Of course we'll be happy to allow people to use content from here, but that's up to us to deal with, not you.

One of the pieces im proberly doing is an illutrative 2d piece shoin the ways the Demons change, and how they are connected to your innerself/soul as well as the pain, no idea how yet.

I need to do about 3 or so illustrations in a set (looking like they match) and becauee its such a large book and has so much good stuff in it, I have decided to choose main aspects that i want to visulise. another is the widow into anoter world, and another which m going to do some life drawing today as research, is the angels how they have an unknown light source shinging on them.

Im also (going to) look into Heronimous Boshes work because the way he mixes creatures socialising with humans somehhow looks so natural, like Lyra and Pantalimon, as well as his work on Adam and Eve which i wnat too look into.
