I'm currently drinking tea as I attempt to write. What a beverage.

Re: In praise of tea.
I am loving tea very much right now. We had a tea tasting at my college with the guy from this shop.
The teas we drank (in this order) were:
Pai mu Tan white tea.
Bi Luo Chun from Dongding Mountain, Suzhou, China.
Bancha Hójicha from Japan.
Sikkim Temi black tea.
Assam Mangalam.
Orange PuErh.
Almond Cream black tea.
They were very delicious. I liked the Hójicha the best, but it's always been one of my favourite kinds of teas.

Re: In praise of tea.
i'm currently sipping my tea steeped from my very last bag of twinings peppermint from the ridiculously insulative starbucks mug i got for xmas a few years ago. i made this tea about an hour ago and forgot about it and it's still warm.
i need to track down some more twinings peppermint (it's hard to find in this city).

Re: In praise of tea.
Just opened the tin of Bentley's Irish Breakfast tea that my mom got me for Christmas. As I'm no expert I can't tell exactly how it's different from the Twinings I've been drinking but it's at least as wonderful.

I'm drinking a fabulous Vietnamese tea which has pieces of cinnamon in it. It's deliciously spicy.

Re: In praise of tea.
I would like to thank tea (specifiically, somebody's Irish Breakfast teabags brewed for longer than I thought I'd be comfortable with, accompanied by milk and just a pinch of sugar) for getting me through this week. I don't think I'd have made it past Monday without it.
Hopefully today's mug is enough to fortify me for an exam, a bunch of homework, and a three-hour electrochemistry lab. I might have to have another at lunch...

I'm really enjoying Twinings white tea at the moment. I'm really into herbal teas at the moment.

strictly speaking, white tea is not an herbal tea but from the same plant as green tea.I'm really enjoying Twinings white tea at the moment. I'm really into herbal teas at the moment.

Re: In praise of tea.
When I was in Harrod's last month I bought a pot of their 'Valentine's Tea' which I broke out when we got home last night. It was a very nice strawberry flavoured tea with pink hearts in it which were actually bits of dried strawberries. Very cute

I had apple and cranberry today and whilst it was nice, it did leave my throat very dry.

I had a tea today called 'A Moment of Calm'. It had lavender in it. I thought the name was strangely appropriate.

Re: In praise of tea.
It turns out a lemongrass+lemon-flavoured green tea mixed with normal black tea is really amazingly effective to combat colds.

Forgot about this until just now when I was going through what's on my camera. Some pretty tea flowers I bought over Christmas. Tasted a bit weak but it was fun to watch it unfold.
