I wasn't going to keep posting about fan fiction, but this one's good enough that it had to be mentioned.

Caveat: If you're one of those people who wouldn't have been happy without the angsty ending, it's not addressed to you, and you're best advised to skip it.

Otherwise:

Polished and completed (only 12 chapters written, but that's enough to give an idea of what's going on), this should have been the fourth volume of the series, it's that good.
