I think there'll be plenty of howling complaints about them even without Alec.

They hurt

Periods suck. You have to wear tampons/pads and be uncomfortable all day. You have to change them every few hours. Your stomach hurts constantly. And if you have heavy periods (like me) you have to change them once every hour!!!!!

Plus, you have to wash your bedcovers!
