Sherlock Holmes & the Limehouse Horror

Postby Townie » Fri Dec 02, 2005 8:03 pm

From one of today's local rags....

WRITTEN by leading Oxford author Philip Pullman, Sherlock Holmes and the
Limehouse Horror is an affectionate spoof on the great detective, full of
excitement, disguise, humour and illusion.
It comes complete with romantic heroines, sinister villains, gun battles
and, most spooky of all, a giant rat!

Mr Pullman will be attending the first night of the Oxford Theatre Guild
production at the OFS Studio Theatre on Tuesday and will stay for a
talk-back session after the performance.

Call the box office on 01865 297170.

I joined this forum shortly after turning 17, and for several years was liable to be
any combination of angry, self-righteous, naive, uninformed, curt and belligerent.
Luckily this teenage attitude is only occasionally evident in my posts - but where
it is, I apologise, and ask you to read them with the understanding that I am no
longer quite so consumed by any of those characteristics.

Of course, if dryers were the link between the worlds, then Will would be spending all his free time jumping into dryers.
