Blur - Coffee & TV Hilarious
The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatry

heh that dragonfoce vid made me freak out with joy the first time i saw it (not just now, when it came out). the solo duel is like, the best thing ever.

aphex twin - rubber johnny (the most disturbing 2.5 mins of music video ever, and then just awesomeness) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l48HTZUHfeQ
carpark north - human http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTYJgyCZ0nQ

or anything else by aphex twin (come to daddy, monkey drummer, etc)

Some of my favourites have already been taken - basically anything by Daft Punk is good.

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit mainly because of the backstory. Apparently, because Nirvana hated the whole music business/bands as brands thing, they tried to have the world's worst video clip. They hired a guy who was meant to be dreadful, and then just let all these kids loose. Apparently it quickly became an uncontrollable, chaotic mess. And then went on to become one of the iconic video clips.

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy

Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy Hey Girl

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

Eric Prydz vs Pink Floyd - Proper Education because I like pakour.

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc for the windmill!

The Prodigy - Voodoo People

Snow Patrol feat. Martha Wainwright - Set the Fire to the Third Bar because it reminds me of HDM.

Evermore - Light Surrounding You mainly because the girl in the clip is an Australian actress and she was hired to act in it. All they said to her was 'We're going to attach a big bunch of lights to you, and you have to drag them around and cry'.

Glosoli by Sigur Ros. It makes me happy :)

And, even though this isn't an official music video (although The Weepies DO link to it on their myspace page...) I love this. The little blobbly clay beasts warm my heart.

OK Go - Here It Goes Again
Simple, but brilliant.

Aha - Take On Me
An absolute classic, must have been a nightmare to make.

Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Need I say more? :D

Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight Tonight
OK, I've got a soft spot for 'Voyage Dans la Lune', a really lovely video.

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity
Very clever indeed...

Tears for Fears: Head Over Heels, because I'm a library geek.

New Order: Ruined in a Day Playing charades with monks!

New Order: Touched By the Hand of God The hair band parody is hilarious.

I have to second "Take on Me." "Just" is a good one too. I always wonder what that guy said, but I'm sure it's one of those things that's not supposed to have a real answer. As for "Hooked on a Feeling" -

new order have some great videos. i'm partial to True Faith (i mean ... wtf!) and the extended version of Perfect Kiss, which i think does a brilliant job of showing the humanity behind an electronic dance track.

I love Toxic Girl, I'd Rather Dance With You and Failure music videos by Kings Of Convenience. ;> They always have some story in them so they're good.
"Tässä on visiirini Jafar, hänkin on iloinen!"

This is a little known video which in my opinion is one of the greatest ever
Dario G -Sunchyme

Also anything directed by Michel Gondry is guaranteed to be awesome:
Bjork -Human Behaviour
White Stripes -Fell In Love With A Girl
"It was evening all afternoon.
It was snowing
And it was going to snow."

Wow, Sunchyme, I'd completely forgotten about that, but it is very awesome.

Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now
(evolution FTW!)

Unkle - Lonely Souls

Fatboy slim - Weapon of Choice

Chemical Brothers - The Boxer

Jamiroquai - Feels just like it Should
Hush, the babies are sleeping, the farmers, the fishers, the tradesmen and pensioners, cobbler, schoolteacher, postman and publican, the undertaker and the fancy woman, drunkard, dressmaker, preacher, policeman, the webfoot cocklewomen and the tidy wives. Young girls lie bedded soft or glide in their dreams, with rings and trousseaux, bridesmaided by glowworms down the aisles of the organplaying wood.

The thread would not be complete without this masterpiece.
Do any of us, except in our dreams, truly expect to be reunited with our hearts’ deepest loves, even when they leave us only for minutes, and on the most mundane of errands? No, not at all. Each time they go from our sight we in our secret hearts count them as dead. Having been given so much, we reason, how could we expect not to be brought as low as Lucifer for the staggering presumption of our love?

Linkin Park - Points of Authority
Definitely a cool animated video in my opinion.

Death Cab for Cutie - When Soul Meets Body
Mostly because I like the song so much but its an interesting video as well.

My Chemical Romance - Helena
The costumes and choreography in this video are grrreat!

Oh yeah and who can forget the wonderful sonic vs mario music video.
Sonic VS Mario
I like the original better but this one is similar.
Those are all I can think of at the moment.
I feel refreshed now that my eyes aren't exploding out of their sockets!

A-ha's Take on me was groundbreaking, and is still amazing today. There was in fact a part 2 of this video, at the start of the video to The sun always shines on tv.

Rush - Subdivisions was good, because it was all about alienation from the masses, which was right up my street.

Evanescence Going Under and Everybody's fool, just brilliant tunes in themselves, but the latter is better because the video explains what the song is about.
